** IMPORTANT ** You don't need one for each ear! January 8, 2009 J. Calvillo (Colorado) I bought two of these fancy iPod thingies because I like music and wanted to listen to music while I'm moving around. These things work great and I can hear music through the ear phone thingies. Unfortunately I didn't know that the iPod came with 2 headphones which allow you to put one in each ear. I thought I'd need to buy one iPod for each ear so that's what I did. (big mistake) So, for anyone else out there who's as confused as me you only need to buy one and it works in both ears at the same time.
Thought it was Great... January 8, 2009 Eileen Dover "C" I first purchased this item about a year ago for a Christmas present. It worked great for the first couple of months and then it would randomely turn off when it still had full battery! I thought that I could deal with that but it kept doing it more often, and then a few days ago it just shut off. It had half a battery still, and it won't turn on or even charge. It's competely busted! Blank screen and skrewed up. I saved my money for a long time to buy it and now I probably can't even get a refund :(. A waste of money and I'm left with nothing.
My new BFF January 7, 2009 Aya Aja Ki (Sa Tx) This is my first ipod ever. Everyone I know has a ipod and i finally bought one, This one to be exact. I didnt buy it from amazon but a pawnshop for $95, wierd no. I should of bought the 120GB for $100 but didnt do it and Im still pissed at myself. Anywho, I love my ipod. I have all my favorite songs on it, some anime and still trying to put movies on it. X-x Im glad I didnt buy the shuffle or a smaller one b/c out of all the cds I put on itunes I had over 2,000. *FYI I jam out to showtunes* It holds enough songs and videos to begin with and I still have 62.2 GB free. *Unfortunately I cant hold much info on my cheesey computer as I would like so i can transfer it to my ipod.* Thing that stinks about it is the battery power. I had to lower the brightness tremendously and the backlight to 2 seconds when it wasnt in use. If I didnt, the backlight would stay on for the longest time and drain the battery. After I fixed the backlight to stay on for 2 seconds the battery didnt die out as quickly. The screen was VERY bright and I had to lower it, so it wouldnt hurt my eyes, and that helped a bunch. Also, fast forwarding through songs/videos or scrolling throught the menu will drain the battery. =S *Again if I didnt change the settings then it would drain quickly as heck. Highly annoying* NOTE: THIS IS ALL BEFORE I CHANGED THE SETTINGS!!!! Once I did, the scrolling didnt drain my battery TREMENDOUSLY!!! Everything was sunflowers and daisys. As the screen size to view movies, I like it. Its okay, I do have a dvd portable player that I can watch movies on. But as for this ipod, Its not TOO tiny or too small, that I can read the subtitles, whennI'm watching anime. This is my first ipod and Im still working out the bugs and all. Still its pretty good. If you like watching films or music videos *that you can also get from youtube* then this would be good for you. Oh, the size. Its not too big for my back pockets and I would HIGHLY recommend getting a case for it b/c it kept slipping out of my hands when I held it. I got a cheap skin at walmart for $4.*they sell them at the front registers* Also, to charge it, I dont know but I prefer getting a wall charger for it. I hated leaving my computer on to charge the darn thing but once I worked everything out its worth it. Now that I worked the bugs out my ipod battery power last for the longest time and have no problems..as of now.
My iPod 80GB January 6, 2009 Trina Adrian De Perez I am very happy with my new iPod. It has all that I need now
Catalogued Music Library January 6, 2009 Barron E. Coleman (New York) I recently purchased my 160G IPOD and I'm elated with my purchase. As a traveling musician, it is so convenient to have my music library with me at all times. Waiting in airports and enduring long flights seem less exhausting with my trusty little IPOD. It could be more video friendly, though.
