5 out of 5 stars AWESOME!   January 6, 2009

Got this from my wife for Christmas because we were getting to my kids hockey games late trying to find the arenas!! The last game was at a rink that I had never been to and the TomTom led us right to the door!! VERY accurate time estimates, VERY easy to use and "hear". I am also a pro musician and trying to find the clubs we play can be a chore as well. NOT NO MORE!!! Many personal preference settings and small enough to take with anywhere as like a "handheld". This is my first "automotive" gps unit and the features are GREAT! walking, driving, finding p.o.i.

VERY RECOMMENDED !!!!!

Nice feature to be able to download addresses from Google maps directly to the unit!

4 out of 5 stars NO REGRETS!!!   January 6, 2009

After reading several reviews, I found that almost everyone liked this GPS EXCEPT for the fact that the volume was low. On the contrary, the volume is exceptional; in fact, I actually find myself turning it down. This GPS is everything I was looking for; I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a inexpensive GPS.

1 out of 5 stars Returning for a refund   January 6, 2009

Unfortunately, we are returning this GPS for a refund. Many of the letter keys produce the wrong letter when attempting to type an address. Also, my grandaughters say that the Garmin, that they have had the opportunity to use, is more user friendly.

3 out of 5 stars TomTom ONE 130 S   January 1, 2009

I purchased this GPS for my husband when we moved to a new city so he would be able to find his way around. Overall it is a decent system for the price. I have written a more in dept review that can be viewed at the link following as I prefer to only write one review of the products I purchase.

1 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY!! WORTHLESS!!   December 29, 2008

I just got a new TomTom 130-s for christmas, and it can't find any of the POI's that I search for anywhere close to me. It's basically worthless. I search for Walmart for example and it takes me directly past two other Walmarts to a third one a long way away. I realize that the city I'm in is still relatively new, but in this case (and many other POIs I've searched for) the place it doesn't have is over a year old. I'm in Arizona, and it told me the nearest IKEA was in Pennsylvania. Do I really have to shell out more money for new maps a couple days after I get it!? What's the point? I always end up having to go back home and search Google maps.
And if that's not bad enough, now it can't find a GPS signal at all. I've reset it, reupdated it and still Nothing.
The worst part? I can't even take this worthless toy back because the person who bought it for me for Christmas bought it more than 14 days before I opened it.
Don't waste your money on a TomTom.
