Great cover for microwave. No need to use plastic wrap or paper towels that move around etc. ... especially for soup and eggs tend to "exploid and spatter over the interior of the microwave oven!

THIS IS A GREAT ITEM TO KEEP FOOD FROM MAKING A MESS INSIDE YOUR MICROWAVE, HOWEVER IF YOU LEAVE IT ON THE STOVE AND TURN THE BURNER ON IT WILL MELT lol. SO THIS IS THE SECOND ONE I HAVE PURCHASED! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

No more wasting paper towels with this cover. WARNING!!! Don't put finger in hole after heating. I would watch it around children. When it gets dirty just pop it in dish washer. It seems to speed up cooking times.

This is one of those items that is so incredibly useful, yet few of us realize how much we need it until we receive one. My husband and I have always used paper towels to cover our plates and bowls in the microwave, with the usual results: cheese and other toppings stick to the paper towel, or the paper towel falls or caves in, resulting in splatter all over the microwave. Enter the incredibly inexpensive and efficient nordic ware plate cover. Now our splatters are a thing of the past, and we no longer waste paper towels in the microwave. How did we ever live without this?
