Wrong Tank June 5, 2008 When ordering this accumulator, please note that it is the wrong image and description for this product and that you're actually getting the 182-200 ShurFlo accumulator with 1/2" Male NPT threads. Looking at the distributor that is selling through Amazon, they screwed up their picture on their site as well.
Shurflo Accumulator, new version August 16, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
IMHO, Shurflo screwed the pooch on the redesign. Their decision to use male pipe threads instead of the previous female threads limits the options for fittings and adaptors. Most fittings and adapters are available with male threads, not female.
If you need to adapt to something other than 3/8, 1/2, 5/8 or 3/4", you've got to jury-rig more adapters; more joints to loosen and leak. They provide swivel barb adapters, but the result is a need for another adaptor for the desired size other than the sizes available. Of course, you can tell I don't use the above hose sizes.
They must have thought most users ride in an RV or spray crops. Go back to the old tank design.
