The Kurgo Skybox Booster Seat is a jewell. My 10 month old Chiweenie loves going bye bye in her booster seat. It is well constructed with durable hardware. My puppy is only 9 1/2 lbs, but is 14" long so it enables her to stretch out when she wants to lie down for a nap. The rods are a little hard to attach, but well worth the effort. The only down side I can report is the smell. I'm hoping time will reduce the strength of it. Fabreeze doesn't seem to help. All-in-all a great investment. I highly recommend this product. Lastly, Amazon is amazing. My purchase arrived right on time with free shipping.

My Maltese is 8 lbs and she LOVES her skybox. I put it in the passenger seat when I'm driving and she can see out the window (and likes to bark at everything of course). I put a little pillow on the bottom because it's a little big for her, but she doesn't mind. I feel secure knowing that she is strapped in and safe. Very much recommend this product!

FIRST LET ME SAY AMAZON.COM IS WONDERFUL. THIS CUTE CAR SEAT ARRIVED REEKING OF MOTHBALLS ON THE SEAT,THE WALLS, THE COVER AND EVEN THE STRAPS.I THOUGHT IT WOULD AIR OUT BUT THE ODOR WAS SO INTENSE IT WOULD NOT DISSIPATE. I DIDN'T WANT TO SMELL IT AND I CERTAINLY DIDN'T WANT MY PUPPY SMELLING IT OR LICKING IT. I CALLED KURGO DIRECTLY AND THEY SAID THEY HAD A BAD BATCH WITH THE BLUE COVER AND THE MOTHBALL SMELL BUT THEY CLAIMED TO BE UNAWARE OF THE PROBLEM WITH THIS ORANGE MODEL.I WANTED TO EXCHANGE IT WITH KURGO DIRECTLY BUT THEY WANTED ME TO PAY THE SHIPPING!I TOLD THEM THAT AMAZON WOULD ALLOW ME TO RETURN IT AT NO CHARGE AND IF I HAD TO RETURN IT TO AMAZON, I WOULD PURCHASE A DIFFERENT BRAND AND NEVER PURCHASE THEIR PRODUCTS IN THE FUTURE.UNBELIEVABLY, THAT IS WHAT THEY WANTED ME TO DO. SO, I RETURNED THIS DISGUSTING SMELLING KURGO SEAT TO AMAZON AND PURCHASE A DIFFERNT(SOLVET) BRAND FROM AMAZON. WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH AMAZON AND OUR NEW PURCHASE.ANOTHER NOTE ABOUT THE KURGO SEAT--THE ORANGE COVER WAS DULL AND DINGY, AS IF THEY TRIED TO REMOVE THE SMELL BEFORE SHIPPING TO AMAZON. My Jack Russell mix terrier has always liked to ride on my lap. But with a new baby on the way I need to change the rules! He likes the skybox so far, and even gets into it on his own. He is a little over 14 lbs. and about 14 inches tall (long legs). This booster seat supports his weight no problem and the sides are just barely tall enough to surround him well. He actually likes it! It is big enough on the inside for him to lay down with his chin on the side to look outside. The skybox seems very well made with the metal frame and cushy pad in the bottom. It was a piece of cake to install in the backseat of my Toyota Camry. I just released the back seat latch to lean the seat forward and attached the strap around the seat (the strap goes behind the seat within the trunk compartment no problem) and I have headrests in the back too. So with both straps attached it seems very very secure and doesn't move at all.

I purchased this product when I got my first shih tzu puppy. He absolutely loves riding in it and being able to put his paws on the window ledge to still stand up, especially when the window is open. I am purchasing another for my second shih tzu puppy.
