Didn't work on an 08 Tundra 5.7 November 22, 2008

I have used K&N in the past with good performance and ease of maintenance, however the filter I purchased for my 08 Tundra 5.7L V8 produced a whine under normal acceleration. The problem was resolved as soon as I replaced with the OEM filter. High marks to Amazon Prime for the ease of return and credit to my card. K&N needs to go back to the drawing board for the 5.7L Toyota engine...
