Not into bondage April 27, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm not into bondage, and , alas, neither is this epoxy putty. I was attempting to bond plastic to metal. I followed the directions, let it set overnight, but the bond came apart after a few hours. If it's not meant to bond plastic to metal, mea culpa. Otherwise, I cannot recommend this product.
FABULOUS April 8, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This works GREAT and is so much cheaper than Mighty Putty that I originally logged on to purchase. Thanks, Amazon.com for the suggestion!!! I used this to fix a drain stopper in my kitchen sink. It was very easy to use and has held up for a month now even after being wet most of the time. I have recommended it to all my friends.

this is a great easy-to-use product. don't get Mighty Putty--this is the original and the BEST.
JB Stix Weld putty January 12, 2008 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
Great product, so simple to use. Harder than bondo and wont crack. So much easier than waiting forever for things to cure. This cures quick, with still plenty of time to work with.
Sorry, Billy Mays - THIS is the original "Mighty Putty" January 10, 2008 23 out of 24 found this review helpful
Like 45 billion other people, I saw the Mighty Putty commercial on TV and thought it sounded great. My husband sighed and said, that's been around forever, and a lot cheaper, too.
So I looked around and lo and behold, J-B Weld IS "Mighty Putty," minus the horrific shipping and 'processing' fee.
I bought this at a local hardware store to test it out (around $3 if you can get find it; my husband suggest an auto parts store.) It does work like the commercial says. I wanted to put up a towel rack in a guest bathroom without drilling through the tile.
Well, it worked. Set up in a few minutes. Next day you could hang Billy Mays from it, and I don't think it'd break.
I'd highly recommend the J-B brand, unless you've got a lotta spare cash and you want to make sure Billy Mays retires in style!
