Product Description The Talking Trip Advisor has a database of over 80,000 vital driver services. Just enter the highway number and mile marker and hear the nearest gas, food, lodging, attractions, rest areas, shopping, hospitals, and more. Even find restaurants by brand or category (pizza, Asian, etc). Trip Advisor reads off the exit number plus the distance and direction from the exit, so you can keep your eyes on the road. For example, want to know when the next McDonalds restaurant is coming up? The Talking Trip Advisor will respond with "McDonalds - Exit in 3 miles, 3 minutes. Exit 167 west 1 mile." Also get nationwide city-to-city directions. Measures 3.7" x 2.1" x 0.9" and includes a visor clip.

don't waste your money!! January 30, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
A low cost alternative for GPS? This product actually gives a wrong direction especially when you try to figure out city to city directions. Wrong highway numbers, no mentioning of inbetween two freeways.... This is something in my opinion, that has to get legally processed for lying to customers. It doesn't give turn by turn directions to anything as the ad says. Most of the time I try to use, it keeps spitting out invalid entry. Well, you have to see it for yourself to find out exactly how bad it is. But I would just go for GPS navigator because this is a waste itself.
