This is a great product to have in your car. I originally purchased this for my husband who had trouble finding the perfect place to put his sunglasses in the car without them falling on the floor all the time. It hangs on the visor and holds his sunglasses very well (and he wears the wrap-around style of sunglasses which can be too awkward for some type of holders). Would definitely buy again!

This slides over the visor and will therefore cover the swing-up mirror beneath the visor (e.g. the one women are always looking in where they're applying make-up).
This works by holding the glasses in solely by compressing them. The edges of the glasses press against the outer vinyl trim; steel frame glasses will quickly cut through the trim. I also question how well this would work during hard cornering and suspect the glasses may go flying across the car.
There is also a steel clip that pinches the vinyl ends together on top. It's not visible here. I think that would eventually cut into the headliner and/or visor.
(I'm a mechanical engineer; sorry for going into this level of detail but I just can't help it.)

It fits perfect on the visor and securely holds the sunglasses. Great product - keeps sunglasses from getting damaged.
