Customer Reviews:
Great product for the price. October 6, 2008 This fuel pressure gauge worked very well. The reading on the guage matched closely to what was called out in the service manual. No fuel leaks at all, not even from the bleed off button. I cut a circular piece of screen protector (like for iphones and such) and stuck it to the face of the gauge. I read in another review that gas, if splashed the face of the gauge would ruin the face of it. Used on a 1996 Chevy Silverado. I would recommend this product.
Not bad but a slight design defect. March 19, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a fairly nice gauge. The quality appears pretty good. There is a nice variety of adapters and fittings included. The pressure relief hose allows you to safely bleed off the fuel under pressure after you have attached the gauge.
My only complaint is that the clear plastic cover over the face of the gauge is not resistant to gasoline. If ANY gasoline comes in contact, the plastic is fogged for good. I am going to find a replacement for this face from a flashlight or something as it appears pretty easy to fix. It would have been better for them to think of this when they chose the material, even if it cost a bit more.
Must have if you like to work on your car October 27, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
A fuel pressure test at a mechanic will cost about 1 hour of labor.
This item is a very good price as it retails around $50 at most stores.
So this item pays for itself in just one test.
