Excellent for extending Visor sideways! May 29, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Being a tall person who needs the seat way back, with today's smaller gas-economical cars, the cars visor does not extend back far enough to give me any sun blocking. With this device, I get the extended sun blocking that I need. Thank you very much for this product, as I have yet to find any other product on the market that extends sideways like this product does!
Cheap and not worth it! April 28, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Boy! Is this a cheap piece of plastic, or what? It comes with some straps to tie it to your visor! Just lovely! You can't ever get the straps tight enough to really hold it in place on your visor. The parts are so loose that whenever you pull out the side extender, the vertical shade drops down! It's not worth sending back because I paid $4.98 to have it shipped here.
Save yourself some frustration and spend your $7.98 on something else!
You get what you pay for.. I guess April 25, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Ordered this for my wife who is short and has trouble with glare in the car. Package arrived and consisted of some cheap plastic. The product attaches to the car's visor through the use of some even cheaper plastic ties that you have to thread through some holes. Don't believe the picture on the page, it does not show the ugly plactic ties.
Problem is getting the product to attach tightly enough to the car visor. Everytime we try and use the extended visor we have to hold it with one hand and then pull out the extensions with the other.
Also, the parts don't fit that well so sometimes the see through pull down visor gets stuck when you try and push it back up.
When you get it in place it does block the sun, maybe I expected too much for $8?
