I just installed this the other day, took about 10 minutes. Unlike the previous reviewer, I used the plastic wrapping cord that came with it. It seems sturdy enough, and I didn't wrap it too tightly (there's plenty of extra slack built in). Now my car feels like a race car, not even joking. Granted, my Mazda3 was pretty sporty on its own, but this just takes it up a level. I wish I had a bigger engine because this wheel cover makes the car feel so much more of a willing partner. It kind of feels like a video game, and I have to watch it because I'm starting to become a more confident, aggressive driver :)
As for the cover itself, the material is synthetic but feels really good. It also lacks that heavy polyurethane smell that comes with many synthetic covers. It has just the right blend of cushioned firmness. Honestly, if you value a sporty driving experience and you can throw this in with another order to get free shipping, there's no reason not to buy this at such a price.

Make sure you know which one you need, either Super Wide or another. I like Super Wide to fully cover the grip circumference of the steering wheel.
When wrapping and installing:
1. I do NOT use the included plastic wrapping wire. They wear out too quickly esp. in hot/cold weather and stretches or break.
2. Instead, use USGI mil-spec parachute cords (aka paracord) in same color as needed.
3. Use the included plastic wire to measure how long of the paracord plus 1ft. Paracord has an outer layer plus 7 strands of cord internally also.
4. Cut the paracord and use ONLY the outer coverings of the paracords. You can discard or save the 7 white internal nylon strands as they are very strong and highly quality for another use, esp. if you are buying USGI milspec paracords.
5. Using the outer paracord layer, wrap according to instruction and keeping the wrapping tight.
6. I tie my own knots and tuck them underneath when done.
Great product and enhances your grip to prevent grip fatigue for those of use that drives often and for longer distance / trips. Works as advertised and great for all seasons.
I used this on every steering wheel vehicle I've owned. Of course, I pick the ones to color-match to the steering wheel.
Don't know why these are becoming much harder to find in this much higher quality brand called Superior (textured) - instead of the fake imitation (non-textured and quality is horrible) that are showing up all over.
