Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Perfect fit (but sags eventually)   June 9, 2007
2 out of 2 found this review helpful

Fits the front windshield with no gaps. Keeps my car from turning into a furnace in the sunlight and 90+ degree temps here. It's heavy duty (i.e. thick) material so it's pretty bulky when rolled up. Also, if you have parking tags hanging from your rearview mirror, the fit is so tight that they will not be visible when you have the shield up. I ended up just taping my tag to the outside of the shield. Bottom line: a sturdy, well-built product that does its job.

Edit (10/4): Amazon won't let me remove any stars from the original review; I would give this a 2-star rating now. After about 2 months of use, the shield developed a diagonal crease and no longer stayed flush up against the windshield when braced by the visors. I carefully rolled up the shield after every use, but I think what did it in was the bending I had to do each time to get it around the rearview mirror. I suppose I could have braced the sagging portion with a vertical strip of cardboard, but ended up just replacing it with a set of the Axius "pop open" shields which are about a third of the cost and take up a lot less room inside the car when stowed. Disappointing...
