The first reviewer hit things right on the dot, and I should have listened. The product does not want to stay up, and secondly, since it is silver in color, the sun's reflection on it greatly reduces visibility due to reflection of sun on the silver color. It's a bad design. It should have been made with a black mesh instead.

This seems to be a pretty decent shade, however it doesn't stay up in my car. My car does have a pretty slanted rear window, but no matter what I do it doesn't seem to stay up. Also when it's up you can't really see through it at all.
