It's a very simple tach, small and easy to install and read. To front face is a little deeper than it should so you have to install it facing you, with even the smallest angle, part of the dial hides out.
Good for the Money July 3, 2008
'89 Civic didn't come with a tach. Mounted this one on the steering column with little effort. Works great. I also have a Toyota pickup with a small Autometer gauge. Both tachs work equally well. If you care where they are made, the Equus comes from Taiwan and the Autometer is made in the USA.

I needed a tach for my work truck. Not a race car. I wouldnt use this tach on race day, but for the price it does the job. Lighting is good, enough wiring and hardware to get the job done, looks good, works well.
