Product Description No more digging through drawers for a needle and thread to repair those workclothes! No more aching fingers from trying to stich on those patches to the sports uniforms. Tear Mender is a natural adhesive that gives powerful bonds FAST! No special surface prep needed, it quickly bonds to any material it can penetrate - like cotton, denim, canvas, leather (the suade side), acrylic, low-content polyester blends, etc. Ideal kit for repairing workwear, automotive seats, convertible tops, patio furniture, scout badges, and thousands of other household uses. Tear Mender Utility Kit contains a 6oz bottle, two patches (natural color), applicator for longer repairs, and step-by-step instructions.

Strong adhesive, easy to work with, no toxic October 20, 2008 Angela R. Valenti I used it on my sofa in a large tear and, till now (about 1 month), is holding. To do this work I put a fabric patch under the tear and it worked but when I tried to paste leather with leather it didn't. Anyway my opinion about this product is positive: it is a very strong adhesive that you can work with bare hands because, when it dries, becomes a thin, elastic skin, so the residues are very easy to put away.
It repaired but discolored the fabric August 30, 2008 Gail A. Josef I purchased this item for a repair on a brand new dress shirt that was ripped by a doorway jamb. It repaired the shirt, being white, but the repair was slightly tan. This shirt is not usuable in situations where impecability is required.
Excellent! January 11, 2007 S. Scavo (Sedona, AZ) 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
I've used this stuff for years now. It works wonderfully in repairing fabric tears and holes. I've patched up my jeans and some ripped board shorts, all beautifully. It's perfect for those of us who don't know how to sew!
