Practical Solution November 27, 2008 R. Fuentes (Portland, on) This product does what it says. I owned the lanechanger before and had it in my small truck for about 8 years, so now I'm purchasing another one for my new vehicle. After using it I wondered why the automaker industry does not upgrade to a similar product for safety reasons. No blind spots, you can safely change lanes and keep your eyes forward where they should be. I found it especially usefull in heavy traffic and when changing lanes to make your exit at the last minute when your on unfamiliar interstates. Also, when backing out of a shopping center parking spot you can spot pedestians that seem to come out of no where and careless parking lot speeders. It's just practical to see see where your going and whats coming from behind.
This should be standard equipment in all cars November 2, 2008 T. Collins (Connecticut, USA) I do not understand the negative reviews. LaneChanger saved me from more than one accident when someone was crawling in my blind spot, or was trying to change into the same lane that I was changing into. I've bought one of these for every car that I've ever owned. I miss it when driving rental cars. What's not to like? When used properly, it saves you from turning your head when changing lanes, it improves overall safety. When sitting in a parked car, you can see 360 degrees around you without turning your head. Get one and see for yourself.
Works for me September 18, 2007 Ian Burgess (Sydney, NSW, Australia) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I think this is a good product - I have plenty of blind spots and in conjunction with my normal mirror, this works well (provided I actually remember to look in it!). I don't know why another reviewer said they can't see the kids in it, I use it to keep an eye on mine, and it works really well - the only problems would be that it makes them smaller and thus sometimes difficult to figure our EXACTLY what's going on. Also it (obviously) won't work with rear facing baby capsules. I'm going to get another one for the new car I just bought - but not from Amazon as they won't ship it to Australia.
Does not t work as promised July 16, 2007 K. Diventi 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was very disappointed and unhappy with this product. It does not provide any better visiblity and for me it actually hindered visiblity because of the awkward shape and curve to the mirror. I would not recommend this product to someone trying to see thier baby in the back seat either simply bc it doesn't work.

Make sure to measure your clearance in your auto. I could not use the blind spot mirror in my sedan as the rear view mirror was to close to the roof.
