Great product, just one complaint. December 3, 2008 A. Lerman Good product. Fairly recent purchase so don't know how durable it is. Just one complaint - it can function as an alarm but the alarm can not be specified for days of the week. I.e. it will ring at 7am every day including the weekend.
Great phone for family! December 1, 2008 D. Evans (Concord, NC) I needed a phone which would not interfere with my wireless network, baby monitor, and would handle the abuse dished out by my children. This phone has delivered on all levels. Call clarity is excellent and it has not shown any signs of damage from being dropped several times. This is a great phone and should last my family for a long time to come.
Finally a cordless phone with no static! September 30, 2008 L. Jarvis (geneva ohio) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I checked all the reviews and decided on this phone. My last 2 phones had so much static. You will not have it with this phone. There are only a few things this phone does not have that I was very used to, but others may not care. This is the reason for 4 stars. The answering machine does not have a number count on your calls until you hit the play messages button and then it tells you how many messages there are. You can not check caller ID if a hand set is in use. This phone will work well outside, will dial a long distance call from missed call mode, and the battery has lasted 24 hrs. off the charger with no bars being used. I have used this phone by the computer, microwave, other phone lines and no static or interference.
Good Product at Good Price September 20, 2008 L. Marx I was replacing an older Panasonic setup (KX-TG2730S) with extension phones. I am pleased with this phone and this seller. The VOLUME isn't as loud as the old phone and I liked the louder volume. Also one of the 6 A/C adapters was bad out of the box, but Panasonic replaced it QUICKLY and easily. That's all the negative I have to say, but plenty of positive! The unit is smaller, more durable, and uses half as much power as the older system. This system also has a much longer ranger. In this case, from a total of two sellers, I bought 6 phones. . . the main system with two phones and then 4 more extension handsets the models are KX-TG9372B and KX-TGA935B. I would recommend them overall!
So far, so good but.... August 29, 2008 A (Tucson, AZ) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am an avid Uniden fan (I even ran over my last one and it was all crushed up, but still worked!), but all of the new Unidens have such small buttons that are so close together and I was tired of misdialing so much. This Panasonic has easier keypad numbers to dial from. Now, I was not a Panasonic fan after my mom bought two different Panasonics years ago and they didn't work well. But, in this case, the minute I picked it up in the store, the handset felt very comfortable (and not so small that I might inhale it) and durable. I do work in the yard a lot and have left my phones outside in the AZ heat, so this phone might be good for me to have in case I leave it in the rain we get 5 days a year! So, the phone works so far but my issue is with the DECT 6.0 stuff. The new Uniden I had purchased was the DECT also and a lot of times it sounds like I'm talking into a tunnel. And other sounds in the phone make it sound like someone is on the other line (but they aren't). It was one reason I wanted to get rid of my Uniden and thought it was defective. Well, this phone has the same sounds so I think it's the new technology they've come up with. I guess I'll get used to it since I'm tired of buying phones! But, for those of you wanting to keep up with the Jones', I'd continue to buy the 5.8 technology and not worry about the "improved" DECT 6.0 stuff...I never had problems with the 5.8 and the noise in the 6.0 doesn't make upgrading worth it until the technology is improved.
