3 out of 5 stars They were great for about a year...   November 19, 2008
Amanda M. Laughlin (Placentia, CA, USA)
I loved these earphones and used them all the time. They have great sound reduction from outside noise and good sound quality, but I've had them now for almost a year and they broke on my yesterday. Sounds like one of the wires got torn, cause the right ear sometimes gets no sound. I need to buy a new set now... going to try something different this time.

2 out of 5 stars It's depressing   November 19, 2008

Well, I bought the jbuds on september 29, 2008 and was excited when I got them because they sounded great. Well today its november 19, 2008 and they just stopped working. Can someone imagine if I bought them at the store for full price. Are you serious!!! 2 month lifespan. That's dissapointing and its not the first time this has happened. I bought some more than a year ago and i bought them this time in hopes that they would be better produced. I WAS WRONG.

5 out of 5 stars Loved the jbuds but the new JLAB headphones are way better   November 19, 2008

I have owned the jbuds for a year and they have served me well in that time. When I bought them, I was really amazed at how comfortable they are and how well they sounded. They are by far the best headphones I have ever used.

I recently got an email from the company about their new products and came to Amazon to check them out. I bought the new ipod samba case and the new jbuds. I like the design much better on the new buds. It's a lot sleeker.

I highly recommend getting the new buds but the original jbuds were great if you need to save a few bucks.

5 out of 5 stars comfortable, work well!   November 19, 2008
Sarah Miller (Brazil and USA)
I've always been told my ears are small in size: but I discovered with regular earphones that my ears are also small INSIDE, making music-listening quite a painful experience for any extensive amount of time (I know it sounds stupid). I basically couldn't use any other earphones without just having to go with full-out HEADphones that wouldn't hurt my ear-canal.

I like these because they came with 3 sizes of buds for different sized ears (YEAH!). I had to go with the smallest, obviously, but it's definitely proved to work well: haven't had a single ear-ache yet and the sound quality is really good as well. I'm no electronics genius, but I can tell you I know when my ears hurt (or when they don't), when something is comfortable (or very much NOT), and that when I have these in I don't have to BLAST the music (bad for ear drums) to be able to hear it well: less volume is sufficient with less background noise. I put these in and it's like a movie: watching the scenes pass by with MUSIC, but no strange voices or outside noise squeezing it's way in.

For me, that makes it a good buy and good quality. These are the only ones I use and I've had them for 4 months now. GOOD BUY, esp for the price!

GO FOR IT

4 out of 5 stars Item as advertised   November 18, 2008

I purchased this item for airplane travel and for use when mowing the lawn. It does reduce the outside noise so it is not necessary to turn the volume up quite so loud.
