5 out of 5 stars Excellent value product for the money   September 6, 2008
    Mark Newlon (Northern Illinois)
The balls were excellent on and around the greens for feel/touch. I was able to get a 9 iron to spin back three feet on a par three tee shot. Distance was quite good off of metal woods also. I have payed a lot more for balls of this quality from other name brands.

5 out of 5 stars Solid, solid, especially at the price point   May 31, 2008

This ball travels well, with spin characteristics worthy of a much, much more expensive egg. More than this, the Staff Fifty bites terrifically on approach. I am a 9 index, and more than capable of missing a variety of shots, but I can get this ball to stop on piedmont Atlanta bent grass greens, even when struck with a four-hybrid, in carrier arresting-hook fashion. Compare this ball to its true, $4.50/ball competition, because it compares favorably. It really does.

Has all the qualities you expect from a ball that costs up to 3 times as much. Soft on the greens, good spin for approach shots, and long off the tee.
