Just be careful wearing it while working in the garden. Bees love it too.
Best Powder Ever Invented May 22, 2008 Dawn Harris (NJ) I was introduced to this product about 13 year ago and have been hooked ever since. I was impressed with how soft it left the skin feeling and the taste isn't too bad either. I have to say I even used it on my daughter when she was an infant in the summer to prevent diaper rash (No Joke) and it seemed to have helped. So now after 13 years I'm going to try the raspberry powder, I'm sure it will be just as great.
Great product even for everyday use! February 8, 2008 G. Edwards (Katy, Texas United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I use this powder everyday! It's silky and does not cause any allergic reaction. It's also a nice surprize for my DH.
NOTHING like Baby Powder- YUMMY! December 28, 2007 Dawn E. Scire (Sarasota, FL United States) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Dunno what that other reviewer is talking about in saying this product is like 'scented baby powder'!?! First off, there's absolutely NO TALC, so there's no annoying talc smell or taste--and taste is important for a product of this nature (when used in the 'adult' manner, that is!) But more importantly, honey dust can be used daily, too, as a replacement for harsh talc products, as it does smell (and taste!) lovely. I've been a dedicated Honey Dust user ever since I was introduced to it about 10 years ago. Its ingredients are added to a corn starch base so its definitely useful in performing as powder should (in keeping one dry), but it also leaves an extra-fine powdering of its semi-sweet 'taste' on one's skin should licking come into play. ;-> The taste isn't anything special, it's just a slightly sweet, not unpleasant flavor, based on whichever flavor honey dust was purchased. And each flavor is accurate, too...even the strawberry champagne has a distinct note of champagne--genious! Honeysuckle is more a plain honey smell flavor. I've found each scent to be delicate, accurate, long-lasting and not at all strong or perfumey (each fruit smelling 'real' and tasting like freeze-dried versions of the same). One other thing, honey dust comes with a mini feather-duster type applicator to put it on with. it works well, especially since one needs only a tiny amount- not a 'whitening' as one would do with typical talc powders-- just dip the duster, shake it off and apply. If you lick your skin afterward, you'll be surprised that it's really there even though you can't see it! You get a vast amount of product for the price, especially when comparing similar products.... The only thing I don't like is that the powder separates, especially when getting toward the end, into large and ultra-fine granules that don't get used up and merely sit on the bottom of the container. It seems like a waste. I only mind because I love the product so much and want to use it all!
Not what I expected October 20, 2007 JMBF (Florida) 2 out of 6 found this review helpful
This was not what I expected. The honey dust is like very strongly scented baby powder, and that is about it. I was quite disappointed with this purchase.
