Amazon.com Product Description Shure's E2c in-ear headphones are tiny, lightweight, and designed to sonically outperform most ear-bud-style headphones. The E2c's unique, relatively affordable design comes from Shure's years of collaborating with professional musicians. With high-energy drivers in distinctive enclosures, the E2c produces high-quality sound with excellent isolation from background noise. The E2c's speakers are constructed with studio-grade components, producing exceptional audio clarity. Their in-ear design, using supplied flex sleeves, naturally blocks background noise. This permits lower listening volumes in loud environments--critical in safeguarding your hearing during performance or other activities. No batteries or extra equipment are needed for sound isolation. Because every ear is different, E2c earphones come with 3 pairs (small, medium, large) of flex sleeves and 3 pairs (small, medium, large) ultra-soft flex sleeves to ensure a personalized fit. These disposable foam sleeves gently compress to fit in the ear canal. Once in the ear, the foam expands to form a tight seal. Once tightly sealed, the sleeves hold the earphones firmly in place. The E2c's cables pass behind the ear--out of sight and out of the way for comfort and discretion. Weighing only 1 ounce, the E2c is lightweight and comfortable enough for any portable listening application. The set comes with a soft, stylish, compact, and zippered carrying case, which allows for an easy, tangle-free way to store your earphones. What's in the Box Earphones, 2 triple-flange sleeves, 3 pairs (small, medium, large) of flex sleeves, and 3 pairs (small, medium, large) ultra-soft flex sleeves (kit 90XC1371, with cleaning tool), a soft carry case (80B8232), a user's manual, and warranty information.

Dissapointed... i wanted to realy like these November 25, 2008 Aaron L. Randelman I ordered these for $66, when i got it i was excited, a cool package, a great fit and thick cable... but the bass was just NOT THERE... i tried all fits and found the one that fit best and snug and it was by far the best fit and sound canceling, i will give it that, but the bass was just weak, I own a zune 80gb and i have no way of boosting the bass, and i am not a bass freak, but when i listen to rock i want to feel like i am at a concert and have the sound sound natural but this had hurtful mid-highs, ok mids, and a lack of bass... they have great highs, and if you have an equalizer you may be able to tweak it or if u listen to soft rock it may be ok, but i wouldn't spend the $70-100 on these otherwise, i got the senheiser cx300 and love them...
Excellent quality sound. Not sure about the design. November 20, 2008 Kareem Ismail (Baltimore, Maryland) The shure earphones have a really crisp quality to them. In their price range, I think they definitely beat their competition on sound quality alone. However the in-ear design is not for everyone, and it does take some getting used to. I strongly recommend trying the different foams and buds that come with it until you are most comfortable first. It usually takes a bit of time after that to get completely used to them, but eventually you get there within a week or so at most. My only complaint is perhaps the build of the wires. Unfortunately I lost sound in one of the earphones after a few months and it was due to the wires being damaged (not externally however) I strongly recommend using the spool when not using the phones lest you have the same problem. Otherwise definitely a good deal, and at the current discounted price of [...], its a steal!
Excellent sound quality, isolation, and comfort! November 12, 2008 M. Bratschun (Colorado) I love these earphones! They have excellent sound quality and isolate me from other noises and distractions. They are an essential upgrade to the headphones that came with my Zune. The only drawback for me is that the cord is a little stiff, causing it to get tangled and be slightly less manageable than I would like. Overall though, I certainly recommend these headphones anyone interested in better sound quality and who enjoy isolating earphones.
Great sound, but wires are a problem November 7, 2008 Tanner Doughty (College Station, TX USA) I have had these headphones for over a year and they are by far the best sounding headphones I have ever had (granted, almost anything is a step up from the included iPod earbuds). I am no audiophile, but the sound quality of these in-ears allows me to hear sounds and nuances I have never heard before in music I've been listening to for years and I love them. On the downside, just like many reviewers here, the chords on both sides have broken in exactly the same place (just where they curve over the ear). It hasn't affected the sound quality as far as I can tell, so I'm reluctant to give them up to have them replaced since I use them pretty much non-stop. In short, they are great, but the chord will most definitely break with even the slightest back-and-forth bending (meaning straightening and re-curving over the ear). I think if I would not have tried to straighten them out all the time, they may have held up a little better.
Great quality for a great price November 4, 2008 Jeremiah Bahr (Portland, OR USA) It comes with multiple size and texture ear bud covers to give the best fit for your ears. Sound quality is crisp and clear.
