I ordered this product as a gift because it was the only one of this type with one-day and gift delivery to another address. Unfortunately it arrived with one of the dishes broken. Though probably "dishwasher and microwave safe" they are also ceramic and did not survive UPS handling.
I suggest one of the metal types unless you are willing to take the chance of having to return them.

My little Havanese love these bowls. They are just the right size for them and cause less dripping on the floor when drinking water. Now if I could just get them to eat together at the same stand...

I actually use this for my two cats (who I need to feed in separate bowls). Perfect size and height for the felines!

These bowls are great. I ordered a second one for a Christmas gift. Easy to clean and just the right size and height for my Ragdoll cat. If you have more than 1 cat, I would recommend two of them as they are not real large.
