I bought this unit last year through a local Farm and Fleet and the front guide wheel broke in less than a month. I went to the store where I purhcased it and they said, sorry, call the manufacturer. I tried many times but could not get through the company's maze of recordings and was never able to get in touch with them to try to order a wheel. My recommendation, buy something else.

So far has been working great. It does take time to get used to it.
Easy to operate, just need to use more than once a year July 17, 2006 23 out of 23 found this review helpful
Waited far too long to edge the lawn and it was encroaching on the sidewalk nearly six inches in some places. The wheels didn't quite roll on level sidewalk/driveway as I'm sure the designers had in mind, but still required less effort than if I were to edge it manually. Easy to maintain a straight line using the edge guide set at an appropriate depth. The edger blade did wear a bit from contacting the concrete from time to time because it was rolling over uneven areas where the grass was growing on top of the pavement. Basically left a nice clean look and makes maintaining it much easier. Compared to using a line trimmer, this is quicker and cleaner.
