The pen effectively does its job. This pen was big enough to fit both of my small sized puppies. Its got 8 panels that you can connect to various shapes and sizes (by leaving panels out you can make it smaller). I use it only indoors but it can be a good outdoor pen as well since you can drive each stake into the dirt to keep it in place.

Got this crate for my 8 week old puppy and it's perfect for her. She sleeps in it and stays in it while I'm at work. It's her own little haven! It's really durable and high enough so that when she stands on her hind legs she can't get out. Fantastic product. Highly recommended!

I bought this for my pugs. I use it outdoors to keep them contained yet allow them the freedom to move around. I love the stakes because it allows you to place it just enough under the ground to keep it from going anywhere. I will be buying another one soon to accomodate my busy pugs.

I purchased this pen for my toy poodle Dolce so she could have her own area in my new apartment and it is fantastic!
Here are the major pros of this product:
1) easy to put together and take apart
2) allows your dog to go in and out through the door instead of you putting them in
3) there is plenty of room for a crate, wee wee pad, toys, food and water bowls
4) Tall enough that my dog can't jump out (She is only eight pounds but came very close to jumping out of her last pen)
Some cons:
1) The plastic is a bit more flimsy than my last pen
2) The lock on the door seems a bit weak (I haven't had any problems with it yet, but I don't think it is the best quality)
I placed the pen on top of some interlocking foam mats (which I also searched for on amazon) so that when my dog jumps around, it doesn't disturb the people living below me. The pegs that hold the playpen together sit really well on the foam. Whenever I want to clean inside the pen, I just remove one of the plastic rods and I can walk right in. I was also able to change the shape and size relatively easily. I am currently using 7 panels instead of 8 and it works for me, but I also tried using 4 and 6 panels which works well too. It really depends on the space where you are going to keep the pen.
Overall, this is a great pen! It is definitely worth the money, my dog loves it and it meets all my needs. I highly recommend this product.
