I was a little hesitant to buy this gate because everyone kept saying it was not easy to put up and take down. Happy to report that I find this gate extremely easy to use and quick to take down/put back in place. Keeps my three kids and my dog out of a room I don't want them in...no matter where I am at!

We have a one year old that we need to keep out of the office. There is a 59" opening and I was having a hard time finding a gate that would work for it... This gate does a fantastic job!! I was concerned when I read reviews that said that it didn't work in a 59-60" space, but I find that hard to believe if you FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY!!! I tried to put it up with "common sense" first and found that it wouldn't "fit"... but when I sucked it up and got out the instructions sheet (which is what it is there for!!) it went up just fine and I did it by myself (well my one year old did "help" some). Great find, in my opinion/experience!!

Book Nerd
Ordered this for the wide opening between my kitchen and living area. It's really sturdy and does the job. 19 month old hangs on it and runs into it and it doesn't budge. Putting it up was pretty easy once I figured out how it works... putting it away is a little harder though because the buttons you have to press to get the side bars to collapse are really stiff, which is good cause the kids can't do it then!
Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. Great price for a great gate.

This gate is very good. It holds up better than expected. I was worried about it being able to hold up to kids at first, but it holds very well.

This gate is exactly what I needed to fit a doorway that was a bit bigger than any of the other regular baby gates would fit. I was a little nervous getting it based on some of the reviews, but if you read the manual that comes with it, you should have no problem installing it and taking it down. It can be a little tough getting it in, because the tension doesn't give so easily, but its not so tough that I'd have to leave it up all the time. Also, as for making holes in the wall...it instructs you not to use it unless there are beams behind the wall for reinforcement. My 16 month old is curious about the net-like gate, but it doesn't seem to be a safety hazard at all. I plan to get another one for another large doorway I have.
