 Worse screen protector I have ever used November 13, 2008

I have used quite a few different types of screen protectors over the years and these rate the worse I have seen. First they are not labeled clearly, the 2nd tab does not pull the outer screen off and when you do get the outer film off, it looks like something in the film has cracked. It's looks like a iridescent rainbow and then flakes off. Don't get any of the flakes on your unprotected screen, because they stick and are hard to get off. The cheap $1 films from China work 100 times better than these.

This is a static-cling-type hard film that goes on your touch screen. Keep in mind that this will fit both 1st and 2nd gen Touches since their front faces are the same size. This film fits well but does leave a very small edge. The main problem with it is that when I peeled the outer wrap, the plastic film had these wavy rainbow effect optical distortion. You cannot wipe this stuff clean--it is part of the film. I removed and tried another one (5 of them to a pack so why not)--same deal! I have used screen protectors on my Palm so this they are nothing new but I knew this was not normal. I cannot recommend this brand.

Initially it wasn't clear if the iTouch G2 screen was the same size as the old G1 (because the overall device does indeed have slightly different dimensions). Further research on other sites showed that the screen size was the same, so I bought this and it was a perfect fit - can't even tell it's there. Definitely a must have for anyone on the go, where scratches are sure to occur.

This works for the 2G touch as well as 1G! I've been using it for a month now and it's great! It's perfectly clear and you can't even tell if its on or not. It's a little hard to put it on and I wasted 2 before I finally got one right. you need to be make sure to do it in a room that is dust free. start from the bottom, line up the Home button and work your way up.

Get the anti-glare screens from Power Support USA instead. They are MUCH better
