Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
'The Boy and his Dog' scarf features a licensed design based on Norman Rockwell's illustrations. Made from 100% silk. Size:35'' x 35''. Comes attached with a hangtag that describes all of the illustrations depicted on the item: Norman Rockwell had a deep affection for children. In fact, much of his workwas devoted to kids and the special world he saw them enjoy in their own unique way. This series consisted of four paintings that appeared in the 1958 edition of the Brown & Bigelow Annual Calendar. In his illustration entitled, A Boy Meets His Dog, Rockwell captures that moment when a young persons life savings will buy a friend for life. Apparently, love at first sight doesnt apply only to the human population. One sniff, one pat on the head and an instant friendship is formed in this touching illustration showing the special bond between a boy and his dog. In Mysterious Malady, Rockwell reveals how seriously this cautious veterinarian takes his work. After hearing a sneeze, the boy delicately wraps his beloved dog in a blanket and prepares the elixir. Like a true best friend, the pooch plays along beautifully. Adventurers Between Adventures, shows a young boy tuckered out after an action-packed morning of fishing, hiking and exploring. While settling down for a quick afternoon snooze, his loyal companion keeps his eyes and ears open, and is ready to rouse the boy from his slumber at the slightest hint of excitement that comes their way. Lastly, the joy and pride shared by the boy and his dog over the new brood, in Rockwells Pride of Parenthood, is tempered by that sense of awesome responsibility which each new parent experiences. Not knowing whether to yell for joy or scream for help, both know that their task will require teamwork, caring and love. It is hard to say who is more proud to be a parent to these playful pupsthe boy or the new mom.
