Size is Approved on Virgin America planes-I ordered this for a direct flight from Washington DC to San Fran on Virgin America. It is well constructed, and easily fit under the seat in front of me on my flight. My dog is a Bichon Frise and weighs about 13 lbs.

I bought this for my female medium sized cat and she fits perfectly into it. She has enough room to lay down and turn around if she has to. I leave it out on the floor and she sleeps in it regularly. It also feels and looks like good quality. Great buy.

Gone to Texas (Austin, Texas)
Recently we moved from California to Texas ~ I purchased this carrier hoping it would not only be comfortable for the cat but would fit under the seat in the cabin. It was perfect - slid in under the seat easily - the mesh panels were great for air circulation. 5 Stars!

I used this bag to travel with my 10 lb miniature poodle on both Delta and Airtran airlines without any problems. She scratched at the bag several times and no damage was done to the bag.
