We bought this for when we're gone for a couple days in a row and don't want to bug the neighbors to come over, as those favors are best saved for when we have to be gone for a week!
It was a great feeder, our cat Dmitri didn't seem to mind it at all, even though the dish is much deeper than his normal dish. It also makes a bit of a noise when it moves, but that didn't bother him, either. We take out the batteries in between trips to save their life. Also, this was the best deal we could find and much cheaper than anywhere else. Highly recommended!

Why are there so many reviews here for a differnent item than what is pictured? Most of the reiews here are for the rotating food feeder and not for the double pop-up food feeder. The double-food feeder lacks enough details to know how to activate it appropriately. I know that it seems easy enough for a 5 year old to figure out, except there's no direction on what to do with the black knob on the back. The wheel just keeps going and going; theres no indication to mark where to end your turning. I'm already thinking about returning this item.. just purchased yesterday from retail store. But I'll give this item at least one more attempt to see if I can get it to work right.

This product is well worth the cost. It performs perfectly, and is easy to clean. Don't forget to buy 4 D cell batteries separatley when you purchase the feeder.

System works just as stated. Was a little worried after reading some pets turned the bowl to the next station ahead of time. They must have redesigned the system since it appears quite difficult to do now. My cat quickly got used to it and comes running when she hears the motor. System has a lifetime warranty also.

I like this product. After hearing about other products being out-smarted by cats, I thought i'd go with this. Easy to setup. The D batteries are suppose to last a year. I set my feeder to feed every 5 hours for four feeds and 4 hours on the last feed. My cat got use to it right away. I fill it once a day first thing in the morning. So now the cat and I are both on routine. Now that she eats 5 times a day she can't go on a binge, hopefully she'll lose some weight. I've had it for about month now so only time will tell. Cat's don't lose weight as quickly as humans to maybe in 6 months I can write another review on weightloss.
