Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars review of "GROUSE DOG"   July 4, 2007
Michael R. Thompson (oakville wa)
The first half of the book was extremely enjoyable, as this seems to be a topic that is overlooked lately. Grouse hunting and the dogs that are used seem to be growing out of favor in todays sporting literature.
however when i reached the second half i was dismayed, as it seemed to be a rehash of the first. despite the redundancy and the fact that the book did not deal with any aspects of training a grouse dog other than
just to take it grouse hunting, i would buy the book again
