5 out of 5 stars One planner for me...   October 7, 2008

This will be my 4th year using the NYPL calendar. I started school without it, thinking it wouldn't be a big deal. Wow was I wrong. I'm in my senior year and going crazy! I came on Amazon looking for it, but I think I might just spend a few extra $ and get it at Borders down the street from my work. I can't live without it a second longer! I am kind of concerned about the size and binding issues. But I'm sure it will be WAY better than any other planner out there.

5 out of 5 stars New York Public Library Planner - GREAT!   September 30, 2008

The NYPL Planner is absolutely amazing. I go out of my way to track one of them down early every year. I'm a student, I work and I balance a lot of extracurriculars, etc. This is the only planner that 1) provides me enough space to keep track of all of my activities 2) separate things into categories so I can keep track of related items in their own sections 3) is not bulky while providing space 4) looks a lot nicer than some Wal-Mart/University provided planner. All-in-all it's a wonderful product! And Amazon is the perfect place to get it from - quick, easy & fairly priced!

I have been using this planner for years- it is geared towards someone taking classes, but I still find it useful. I love the monthly schedule/calander all in the front for quick reference. The weekend entries are smaller than the week day in the daily/weekly portion of the planner, so if you have a ton of stuff on the weekends to schedule, you may want to be aware of that.

I loved this calendar so much I went to Amazon to buy it. Much cheaper than in Barnes & Noble even with my discount,
I love Amazon and trust the co. for returns or anything!

3 out of 5 stars not as good as last year   September 18, 2008

Bought this planner because I had it last year, and loved it! It is so hard to find Student Planners that are vertical instead of horizontal. I was really disappointed when I received my planner today. It still has the layout that I like, but the planner is much smaller. I would guess a whole 2 inches shorter length ways, and an inch wide ways. Which makes it much harder to write in the Wednesday section for me since I am right handed, and its right up against the spiral. I don't have class on Tuesday so now I just write partially into Tuesday. Like others I also experienced some problems with the binding. I ripped out a bunch of pages I don't need and am hoping this might help - but my biggest complaint is the size. So I took away a star each for the size and for the binding. I hope next years is better...
