This is an amazing product! I thought the ejector button was just an unneccessary doodad. Got the advanced model because it qualified for free shipping. Its great! Our animals love it. They all want a turn and stand in line (2 goldens and a cat) waiting to be brushed. The furejector makes for easy one handed use. Gets out LOTS more hair than regular brushing. Makes for LOTS less hair in the house.

Our cats (and their support staff) love this product. It removes loose hair and some undercoat - giving our cats a well groomed appearance. The Amazon price was better then I found at any pet store. Highly recommended.

The Furminator is one terrific de-shedding tool. We have a 90 lb Lab who sheds like crazy in our TX heat. She seems to like it too as she seems to have no problem standing still for each 10-15 minute grooming session.
Can't say I endorse the 90% reduction in shed fur claim, but it has definately cut in half the amount of hair that the vacuum picks up.
A must-have for large breed dogs!

When they recommend this at our local pet shop I was turned of by the $45 price for which they were selling it and bought an 8 dollar basic one, which we later returned because it was worthless.
After debating about buying the one without the fur rejector, I am very glad I bought the version that has the fur eject button. I was skeptical that it would work well and assumed I would still end up pulling the hair off with my fingers, but it works like magic. Don't settle for a cheaper brush! Save yourself the hassle of returning a low grade brush and get this one. It feels so solid I am very confident it will last for years, and when it finally gives out, I'll buy the same one again.
A practical note. I can actually use this brush indoors ejecting the hair into a trash bin without making a mess.

Works great. Makes you wonder how much hair can come off a Golden Retriever before she starts to look bald. I haven't found out yet. A word of caution, be careful how hard you press since the teeth are kind of sharp and can be uncomfortable for the dog. You don't really need to bear down on it. Amazon sells it for half the price my local pet store is asking for it.
