Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Cant keep your dog away from the pocket you put all those treats in? After years of treat handling inconvenience, renowned dog trainer Terry Ryan designed this treat pouch. In addition to creating quick and easy access to treats, the pouch closes with a touch, and stays closed, keeping dog noses out! The closing mechanism is a thin metal strip that is sewn into the top edge of the pouch. As the pouch is pulled open, the metal strip snaps in place and holds it open. A quick tap with a hand or elbow, and it snaps closed again. The Treat Bag comes with both an attached belt clip and an adjustable strap belt (max 44 in length). Additional storage pockets on the front (Velcro) and back (zippered) are just the right size for money, ID cards, or other small items you might need to carry. Attached to the top is a handy key ring that is perfect for clickers, whistles, and keys. The interior of the pouch can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Includes a Training Tips booklet by Terry Ryan. Opening: 3.0" x 6.0", Bag: 6.0" x 8.0".

4 out of 5 stars Clip broke after 4 months; great for carrying waste bags   August 30, 2008
K. Daum (Northwest, United States)
The plastic clip broke this week, after 4 months of use. I guess I'm okay with that, as I've now found I like the belt feature better. With the clip, the treat bag filled with a couple handfuls of Zuke's Mini treats would kinda pull down my loose yoga pants that I always wear.... oops! So, I much prefer the belt, wish I'd tried it sooner.

I use this treat pouch to hold Zuke's Mini treats to reward Zoey for going potty promptly, coming inside when I call her, etc. Most importantly, it holds my waste bag for picking up after Zoey, so I can have both my hands free even if my clothing doesn't have pockets, like the aforementioned yoga pants.

The directions for this Premier treat pouch instruct the user to occasionally oil the hinges, which I need to do. The hinges to close the pouch worked smoothly until some rain got on the hinges.... now they're creaky and stiff. So, gotta oil those!

2 out of 5 stars Great design, poor construction   August 28, 2008
John A. Lefcourte (Reno, NV USA)
See the reviews under the green bag. After three months of use once a day, one of the hinge pins came out so the bag could not shut tight, its main design feature. I found the pin and replaced it and two weeks later the hinge, itself, broke making the closing feature inoperable. The other reviewer at the green bag site had two bags that had their hinges break.

5 out of 5 stars Great all purpose pouch for training   August 18, 2008
Ninea Bidness (Valencia, CA USA)
Got this to help us out with the clicker-training of our new puppy. Love the large pouch, and extra compartments to store things such as 'doggie bags' and keys, etc.

I recommend this to other people for pet training, as well as just a great easy-access pouch for general use.

5 out of 5 stars Very convenient treat pouch   July 2, 2008
Jackie (Seattle, WA, USA)
This treat pouch does everything I needed. It's easy to open and close with one hand. It's big enough that I can put a tennis ball in if needed. The belt cinches in small enough to fit. It's perfect.

5 out of 5 stars Great little treat/training bag   June 28, 2008
Martha Jane (Florida)
This is a great bag. Easy to open yet closes with just a tap. Pockets are good and using either the belt or the clip, the bag stays put. I've tried other bags but the quality and convenience of this bag can't be beat.
