5 out of 5 stars Lowest Price on Chewable Greenies for Dogs   October 9, 2008
C. Wendel (Naples, Fl)
I can't find anywhere a great price on this item:
107 Teenie Chewable Greenies 30 oz.
I have searched many sites and found this one to be the cheapest.
If you find it cheaper, I'd like to know where.

5 out of 5 stars Tootsie Bear loves this treat (and it fights the tartar).   October 6, 2008
Joyce Merten (North Porth, Florida)
My dog refuses to let me brush her teeth, so I look for other ways to keep her teeth and mouth healthly. I had her teeth professionaly cleaned and saw the tartar and plaque reoccuring within months. I purhased the Greenies in bulk to offset the price, and we are both happy with the arrangement! She will do a double take when I as her if it is time for a Greenie and I have noticed an improvement in her teeth. I look for the best deal and plan on keeping this product available to her.

5 out of 5 stars My vet says these are fine and my dog loves them   September 12, 2008

My vet (at a world famous vet hospital in the Boston area) said greenies were ok. Here's the basic deal

- There are incidents of dogs choking and dying over greenies, rawhide, natural bones, rubber balls, toys ... just about everything

- Greenies gets a lot of press because it's an established company - there's someone for mourning owners to blame and sue - but that's the only reason greenies gets singled out. We love our dogs, of course, and it just takes one or two people to tell the world their heart wrenching stories, and then you think it's an epedemic.

- overall the risks are very very very low. It's a handful of cases over millions and millions of dogs. And the risk of rawhide is not lower than greenies.

- Moreso, dogs need to chew on something like rawhide or greenies. Tooth health is also critical to dog health. Dogs die early due to poor nutrition if their teeth decay too young. And that's what will happen if you don't give your dog chewable treats like greenies or rawhide or natural bone - their teeth will decay and fall out before their time.

So overall, your dog needs bones/chews for long term health. The risk of greenies is the same as the risk of rawhide and is less than 1 in 100,000 or anything close to that. But the risk your dog faces if you deny her/him things like this are much higher because they need it for tooth health.

5 out of 5 stars nothing better   August 18, 2008
Hoi K. Lee
My puppy used to have bad breath until we started using this product. Although it is pretty pricey, it is well worth it. Dogs absolutely love it! We only noticed its efficacy, when we stop noticing my dog's breath. Highly recommend it for dogs with bad breath.

5 out of 5 stars Big canister!! Perfect!   July 2, 2008
Jenna K. Fernandes (Honolulu, HI)
I have four dogs and they love Greenies! I ordered two of these canisters and I feel it's a real money saver since I go through four Greenies every night before they go to bed! It's a good quality canister too that is easy to open yet air tight.
