The headset is just OK. Lots of echoing in the headset and it is hard to get the mouth piece to sit comfortably without hitting your chin or mouth.

Plantronics CS-55 Dect 6.0 Digital Wireless Office Headset
I have been looking for a better headset than the one that comes with Dragon NaturallySpeaking Preferred. I searched through the Internet quite extensively until I came to Amazon.com. I read the reviews of this headset, and I looked at the available accessories offered. I found the behind-the-head headband that sounded more comfortable to wear. I bought both items and I am glad that I did!
The quality of the headset I found to be quite excellent, especially for Dragon NaturallySpeaking. I could control some of the functions of my laptop from out in my driveway, so that when I got back in the house the programs were already loaded. There is not much more that I can say that has not been said in the other reviews, other than in the negative review.
At present I do not use Skype... but I am thinking of looking into it! I am glad that I found these reviews!

I was looking for something i can use all the time, connect to my home like and free me from having to sit at my desk.
This has good voice quality.
The cons:
battery doesn't last long
have to connect it to a handset so no can do with cordless handsets
no hang up capability from the ear piece, you have to go back to your desk
they have a higher model with a keypad you can clip to your belt. maybe that might solve all my issues but i would not recommend this one to others.

Once I re-read and understood the directions for which dial does what adjustment, the unit works very well. Like the choice of different "speaker" options. I didn't order the handset lifter, figured I could do that myself...and so far I have been able to! The footprint is small, so it doesn't take much room. Happy with the product - required a little tuning of the sound feedback settings, but overall a good headset for the price.
