Wagan Universal-Fit Air Circulating Ventilated Seat Cushion July 21, 2008 M. Sheppard Purchased as new, the cushion arrived ok and on time. The cushion has three straps to hold it securely to the car seat. Within 1 days use one strap separated from the cushion. Three days later the second strap broke, leaving only the strap that wraps around the head rest still attached. This occurred despite careful getting in and out of the car. Made in China so what do you expect. I just hope the little motor that generates the fan keeps working for at least a year. It was not returned. It is easier to re-sew rather than do the return. don't bother July 21, 2008 J. Meade (Long Island, NY) My recommendation is to pass on this one. Didn't work worth a hoot, poor quality, smelled funny too. I couldn't even find a reason to give it one star, but had to give it or my review wouldn't even post. Save your money and buy a better unit - I will be doing that this afternoon.
straps June 17, 2008 Ice Pick (calif) I bought this for my husband..he likes it but the straps are not long enough to go around the seat of a full size pickup..they both came right off when we tried to put them on. I guess they are ok for a car.
dont buy June 1, 2008 mindy hirsch (silver spring, md) this product is poorly made. the first time i attached it to the seats, the straps ripped off. i have to return it. also, it is pretty bulky. if you have short legs, the fan will hit your legs causing it not to work well. i read all of the positive reviews and thought this was going to be a great product. I am very disappointed with it.
Works, but Cheap April 17, 2008 J. Dunning (Naples, FL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this seat cover because my boyfriend wanted one and I didn't want to spend a ton of money on the other ones that cost more and have worse reviews. I paid $33 for it so what can you expect? The cooling mechanism works great and my boyfriend (who works in landscape in Florida) said he noticed he doesn't sweat when he sits on it. The reason I say it's cheap is b/c the first time we put it on his seat the straps that hold it in place pulled off. It's a matter of poor stitching. I took the cover to the seamstress that I use for my clothes and had her reattach them. She's inexpensive and charged me $10 so overall for $43 I have a fully operational seat that works well in Florida heat.
