Sun Visor December 6, 2007 Martin E. Ademy (St. Petersburg, Florida United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a replacement for the same visor that was broken by a car wash. This works grace for those times that the sun is bight but below your car visor. This can really prevent an accident. It is a great invention.

This product does what it says it would do--keep out the glare of the sun.
Love the concept, but has one minor setback November 23, 2007 Donna Birdwell Braud 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I absolutely love the concept of this product. I was actually going to make one myself from plexiglass, but found this one available. I bought two, one for me and one for my sister. We are both fairly short and bothered by the sun sitting just below where our car's visor reaches. I love the sliding part that makes it darker in that spot to eliminate the direct sun's rays. The only drawback for me is the fact that it sort of vibrates when it is fully extended, which kind of blurrs your vision through it. The first time I used it, it gave me a headache. I guess I could blame part of that on the vibration in my car. If you drive a very smooth-riding luxury car, it would be better. Anyway, I am keeping mine, but using it only when the sun is at it's worst. I would recommend this product, it just takes a little getting used to.
About what I expected November 2, 2007 Brbnkseaj (Burbank) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This works fairly well. The only problem I had was that objects get a little distorted at the edges of the shield. It also warps a little in hot weather and makes creaking noises if it is not folded completely up against the visor. I also would have preferred one that could slide to the side since I drive a Jeep Wrangler and the windshield is far away from the seat, and I get the sun shining on the side of my face a lot. I also get a lot of sun shining in between the driver side and passenger side visors.
Useful item July 18, 2007 Valerie B. Murray (Framingham, MA USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This extension to the regular sun visor is VERY easy to install, and we found it immensely useful when we were driving west (Boston to Denver) recently. It definitely cuts down the glare of late afternoon sun, thereby reducing the stress of driving into the sun in the late afternoon. This should be standard equipment, in my opinion. Why aren't there more of them around?
