A great product! January 12, 2008 Kayla's Mommy (Orange County, CA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This cargo bag is great. We took a road trip to California from Colorado for Christmas. With all the presents we ran out of room in our car so they went on the roof on the way home. What is different with this product than the others on the market is that this one does not require cross bars. It sits directly on the roof and attaches to the side rails. We did not hit any snow or rain so I can't comment on it's water resistance. I highly recommend this product.
Excellent purchase January 5, 2008 S. Clark (Arizona) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I think this cargo carrier is great. It is 13 cubic feet and huge. We had it filled to absolute max capacity. I have a Kia Sorrento and anything larger would have been too big for the roof top. We drove from AZ to FL in December and it did awesome. We encountered hard rain in Fl and the inside of the bag got some water, but I had everthing packed in Space Bags and everything else in large trash bags, no problems at all. We did use two extra straps just in case, but all in all it did great. I highly reccommend this product.
It was okay.... December 30, 2007 Nicole Cody (Arkansas) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
We purchased this product for a trip from Arkansas to DisneyWorld. As far as bad weather goes.. we HAD IT - and our luggage, for the most part stayed dry. To be honest, we had a string come loose and with 80MPH traveling, it made into a little hole, so things got moist, but for the most part, all of our stuff stayed dry - we are talking terrential rains people, and this stuff stayed dry. There is a little wind noise, but for goodness sakes, you have a bag on top of your car - get real. It served it's purpose and if it weren't for the defect in our particualr bag, we would have kept it..
Served its purpose December 23, 2007 Mary J. White 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We packed our clothes in plastic bags and they were dry. We threw some towels in and they were a little damp. But, it served its purpose. It made more room in the car.
roof top carrier December 11, 2007 greywolf (las vegas nv) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It secured terrifically on top of the roof and did not loosened for 2000 miles. It fit quite a bit into it but the howling in the wind was terrible but not the defect of the product. Product is well made and very sturdy.
