5 out of 5 stars Best microfiber on the market!!!   July 4, 2008

I take great pride in the appearance of my vehicles. I have tried many car care products from many companies and Meguiar's are the best.

As far as this specific product is concerned; I have tried all the methods. Terry cloth, high quality chamois, and even a couple of gimicks like the Mr. Clean Auto-wash kit and I'm ashamed to admit it... I even bought a pack of Sham-Wows from the TV. (For a review of the Mr. Clean product please go to my profile. As far as the shamwow is concerned... DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!)

This Meguiar's microfiber has crazy absorbancy. It amazes me every time I use the product. I received my first X2020 in a car care kit. When used in conjunction with a chamois or deionized water it will sopp up all the nooks and crannies of the car i.e. rearviews, door handles, emblems etc. There is no water left behind after a single wipe. It leaves a streak free and debris free finish with very little effort. They are machine washable and come out looking great with no fuzz from other towels in the mix.

I recently purchased a pack of 3 for $8.88, an incredible price, and use one for wheels, one as a workhorse and one as a finisher. It is a great combination. You will never buy another type of microfiber cloth. Meguiar's has, once again, perfected an essential car care product.

5 out of 5 stars Soft, Great Microbfiber towels.   June 16, 2008

These Microfiber Towels are great. I keep all three in the car, One to clean the dashboard when dust builds up, Two to clean it with a wet spray, and the third to clean up windows when they fog up. Very soft towels, and very safe to use.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent product and correct size   May 12, 2008

I purchased this product just to see if it was better to use than terry-cloth bath towels and it is definately better. I have been a car-nut since 1955 and now I have a beautiful black 1991 Chevrolet S10 Blazer SUV and black reveals every inperfection! After a quick water rinse to get rid of the pollution, I use three of these towels to dry the vehicle and eliminate any water spots. These handy little towels are all you need. It is better to use three small towels rather than one large towel because the latter would drag the ground, snag on the trim and acessories, would get heavy with moisture and is not as precise in getting in tight places. I first rinse any dust and pollution off the car with water, wait 10 minutes for the surfaces to drain a little, then I use two towels at once, one in each hand and work around the vehicle. I can completely dry the vehicle in 15 minutes, including the glass, using one of these lightweight towels in each hand so no droplets will have a chance to dry and leave water spots. The third towel is used for detail after the vehicle is dry. In case you find a water spot you missed, one of these damp microfiber towels will wipe out a water spot with just light rubbing. Larger towels will get heavy with moisture and can pull the wax off your car.

Micro fiber is great stuff but I would have preferred that this product would have come in one large piece rather than the three small ones.

3 out of 5 stars Average microfiber   March 15, 2008

May be the reviewers who are raving about these towels have never used microfiber towels before - or at least not quality ones- but these towels are just about average. Not particularly thick, soft or plush. I encourage those who rated them a full 5 to try other quality microfiber towels like cobra or detailer's paradise before passing judgment.
