ok to get but not what i aimed for September 13, 2007 Mohamed A. Yousry the massage is not that efficient and u have to set it on high to feel it. The size is really huge and not as shown in the pic so u better think twice before buying (especially if u intend to use in car like i wanted). Finally it doesn't come with a car adapter, so u either count on batteries or buy one from radioshack for example.
HoMedics BKL-100 Squish Massaging Lumbar Massager with Heat May 13, 2007 Charlie (Maryland) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This works best as a massager. I wasn't able to feel much of the heat. I use it at work and at home.
Comfortable and perfect for work. May 11, 2007 Shellie K. Karol-Chik (Aurora, CO) 14 out of 14 found this review helpful
I bought this product about a week ago and have been using it at my desk at work. I find that it is very comfortable, although like any lumbar support pillow, it pushes you forward on your chair (which can't be avoided). The vibration is very quiet, so quiet in fact that I have had people stand at my desk talking to me and not realize I had it on until they put a hand on my chair. The 'squish' microbeads are only in the blue stripes on the front of the pillow, and the remainder of the pillow is made of foam. It is not too hard and not too soft. I bought the product mainly for the heat feature, as a regular heating pad at work just doesn't press up against my lower back adequately enough. I was disappointed to find that the heat only works if the vibration is on, and if you do want a strong vibaration with the heat, then this is the wrong product for you. The heating function radically reduces the vibration when it is turned on. The pillow has a hi/low vibration option, and the vibrations are pretty strong if the heat is off. The most annoying thing is that the heat/massage turns off after 15 minutes. I really wish that there was a way to override this control. Overall, I am happy with the product for the pricing. I found other similar models that were price tagged at $79+. This product works relatively well for my purposes.
Great product but bad heat+messager May 7, 2007 Elie Glik 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I bought this product for my back, and it has helped it! If you are thinking about buying this product for the heat or message, don't do it, as it works horribly. The heat can not be turned on without the vibration, while the vibration is unbearable in my opinion. Now if you are thinking about buying this product as back support, I completely recommend it. It gives middle back support and pushes your back out so your not scrunched up when siting.
Disappointed March 14, 2007 M. A. Sebourn 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Product does not generate enough heat to provide relief to sore, aching muscles. The "massaging" action is actually a vibration action. When heat is switched on, the vibration action is reduced dramatically.
