5 out of 5 stars Good product   October 21, 2008

Easy to install and after several months still works great. I was afraid the plastic tabs used to install it would break off quickly but they haven't. I wired it directly to my cigarette lighter wiring harness and thought the constant on LEDs would drain the battery, but after leaving my car parked for days it hasn't discharged the battery at all.

4 out of 5 stars DC power   October 12, 2008
Robert Meier (Chicago, IL USA)
Quality unit. I use it in my car and small boat. It reall comes in handy when extra outlets are needed.!!

5 out of 5 stars As Advertised and Then Some   September 14, 2008
Martha Kilmer (Battle Creek, MI)
I was a little concerned the 3 way socket would be too big for use in the car. Instead, we simply lay it on the floor and it is out of sight. The cord allows the device to be plugged in up front and reach to the back seat when necessary. It has never come out of the "cigarette lighter" (how old does that make me?).
This company ships so fast, I wonder if they are telepathic! Nice job all the way around.

4 out of 5 stars Great product. works good   September 8, 2008
Amazing Store (Chicago, IL)
Great product.
Rated 4 for 2 reasons:
The car battery indicator is not really helpful, just an accssory
They provided screw to fix it, who the heck is gonna screw in the car? They should have provided velcro!!

Recommended product.

4 out of 5 stars Geek needs more power   July 31, 2008
J. Peterson (Aurora, IL USA)
As a gadget man/computer geek you need more power outlets than average cars provide in 12vdc, this 3-way socket lets you plug-in: GPS, scanner, CB radio, coffee mug warmer cord, map light, a myriad of things needed while driving...
