This phone does everything but "windows". Great options,easy enuf setup if you read directions & so far, no problems.Other panasonic phones will work on same line but w/o this one's bells & whistles.If u delete the calling list,it will do so on all hand units(unlike old panasonics) which saves running to other units to do so & the phone #'s u register transfer to all phones.Not good if someone has a hand unit in their room & want their own directory listings.The base unit attaches to wall horizontally so can't see buttons on answering machine if your phone plate sits high. You may find the extended model (includes phone in base but not $1.97+ shpg wall mtg brkt) for $99.00 on sale in Target.Made the error of buying this one for the same price.No room for negotiating w/vendor if you make a sale. They wanted to charge 2way ship & stocking fee.Panasonic should develop phone where lcd light stays on longer& alarm doesn't ring 12x's.

I evaluated many products. I bought them at Best Buy, tried them, and then returned them. This one had the features, sound quality that we needed. We have another wireless phone with recording features. The use for this one is for our upstairs bedrooms - and we have no use for the base station (keypad or recording features - they are turned off). One of the key features is call announcing. I have 2 children - and they are starting to get calls--but they are too lazy to answer the phone. Imagine that? So, the key feature to motivate them to answer the phone is the announcement of their friend's name. Bottom line. This phone has reduced the stress in our household - perhaps an unusual reason to buy a phone!

I love this Panasonic Cordless it works great! Shipping and pricing we're phenomenal can't beat $50 dollars less than what they sell at the store unopened. The only problem I had at first was the answering system wouldn't work for a day but after that it finally just started working??? Anyways another thing that might irk you is that it didn't come with the digital screen to let you know how many messages are waiting. You'll only know when you press play so that's an inconvience. Other than that I love it. Thanks for your business.

I purchased my initial set of these phones for use at my lake house where distance is important. We had tried several cordless phones but experienced static and breakup between the house and docks (150ft). These Panasonic phones are clear, have long range and have many additional features. We make frequent use of the intercom feature. We liked these phones so much, we decided to purchase a set for our winter home. Highly recommend these phones.

The sound quality surpasses any previous cordless phones I have owned. I especially like the conferencing capability. The sharing of the phone book, setting the time and having it applied to all phones are two other features which I appreciate.
The alarm and paging are also two additional useful features I enjoy.
I have been highly pleased with the quality and functionality of this multi-handset system and the price was great as well (under $100).
