5 out of 5 stars Radio   October 30, 2008
Samuel R. Tyler (Seattle, Washington United States)
Everything is just fine and the radio plays nicely and sits on my desk perfectly

5 out of 5 stars Just what I wanted   October 24, 2008
Beau Lab (Lexington, NC)
Needed a portable battery powered radio for use when we loose power during storms. This item is perfect. The stations are clear and really good volume. Have plenty of radios, but none that were just battery.

4 out of 5 stars Sony Portable radio   October 21, 2008
William Linsley (Shelton CT USA)
The sound of this radio is very good, and its reception is also outstanding. It is not really a good pocket radio, though, although the carrying handle makes it fairly convenient to listen to when walking. One wishes it had digital tuning.

4 out of 5 stars Great no frills radio at an attractive price   October 20, 2008
Tommy Gun (Elgin, IL.)
I just recently purchased this gem for use in my office & garage & my first impressions are as follows:

-Decent sound quality

-Reception is very good, actually better than a few portables I own that
cost much more.

-Very easy to use,you don't even need a manual.

This radio is a throw back to the 70's,no bells and whistles
just a tone control for music & talk. What impressed me the
most is the ease of picking up on AM lower powered stations
over 100 miles in the day time. For giggles & grins, I used a
'Select A Tenna' antenna in the night time & this unit turned
into a serious DX,ing machine! . In a nushell, for the money you
can't go wrong.

5 out of 5 stars Nice radio!   October 15, 2008
M. Wiggins (Lansing, MI)
I needed something to play in the garage and in the basement, and this is it. This thing works beautifully! Easy to operate, pulls in stations well, and has a nice, rich sound to it. Nothing fancy, just good old fashioned quality radio. Well worth the price!
