Amazing Worx cordless hedger July 2, 2008 Frances C. Alequin (Florida) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is truly a great product. The only downside is that it comes requiring some assembling of the handle and if you tighten it too much the hedger won't work. I originally thought I received a bad unit as I could not get it to turn on after connecting the handle. Thankfully, after re-assembling the handle piece I got it to start. I and am absolutely in awe of its power, precision, running time, and just the overall lightweight cordless design. I did 1 1/2 hours of trimming one day until my arms ached and the battery still hadn't lost its charge. I highly recommend this over Black and Decker. Its a cordless hedger like no other.
Perfect for small applications June 15, 2008 Workout buddy (Washington State) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The hedger works great on small branches but do not try it on the larger ones. I really like not having to try to pull start or pull a cord around so this hedger is for me.
great machine June 4, 2008 M. John (Atlanta, GA) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love the cordless feature and the fact that it is battery operated makes it even better. It is a bit heavier than I'd like but I am very pleased with it.
Worx Hedge Trimmer May 14, 2008 Leon Nicholson 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The quality of the trimmer is good, design and balance is fine and it is easy to use. I wish the battery would last longer.
Great tool! November 11, 2007 Billie (Maine) I am a mature non-mechanically talented female, and after charging the battery I set up this tool by myself in less than one hour. The only negative is that the owner's manual had slightly misleading instructions for set-up. Attaching the handle to the housing requires pressure, which is not stated, and also the locking bolt on my machine was already inserted, and I had to remove it before I could proceed. That also was not stated. However, the tool works great. When I started it up, the noise was so much less than a gas machine, for example, that I did not expect much. But I cut the brush back and forth, up and down, along a 100 foot country driveway, brambles, thick blackberry stems, tall grass, ferns, etc., working one hour on each of 2 days. I bought an extra battery, but I did not need it. The battery did not quit after one hour, I just got tired, not the machine's fault. The long reach dual blades and strong battery are definitely pluses. I am looking around for more to cut!
