I bought this for my dad as a gift and he loves it! Hasn't used it yet but he's excited too!

I got this for my dad for father's day so that he could watch sports and still keep track of his large roasts. His complaint is that if you set the roast for the Rare setting it will notify you when it reaches the appropriate temperature for rare, but most cooks know that you actually pull the roast from the oven before it reaches that temperature and then the temp rises as it sits on the countertop for another 10 minutes. This doesn't let you adjust the alarm temperature to take into account the resting time, so if you want rare beef you can't rely on the alarm, which is what I got it for, so it kind of defeats the purpose.

I bought two of these and neither worked. Customer service never responded and they just went in the trash.
Do not waste your money on this item.

I gave this to my father in law last year for father's day and he STILL rants and raves about what an awesome gadget it is...so this year I decided to give it to my husband for father's day. We celebrated father's day early because my husband won't be here then...and as I had hoped, he just loves it too!! What a great product!! Every griller should have one of these!!
