Our Dogs Like These, By Jingo! January 28, 2010 Spudman (Pasadena, MD United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The ten Munchy Stix are encased in a clear plastic shell backed by a bone shaped piece of cardboard. The chews are roughly five inches in length and look like little, thin salamis or slim Jims. Unlike the former, however, these rawhide chews are not soft and pliable, but rigid and crunchy. Each Stix is a compressed , cylindrical stick formed with bits of rawhide, chicken, and pork. Dingo® tells us that these Stix have the same great taste as the larger chicken/rawhide chews in an easy to chew treat. Further, we are told, these Stix are healthy and fun to chew, helping to promote clean teeth and gums.
Ingredients: Rawhide, chicken, Pork, Water, Corn, Sugar, Salt, Potassium sorbate, Red 40.
Both of our dogs and their occasional guests love these Stix. I don't know how much chew value they have because they're totally consumed in about five minutes, sometimes longer for little Piper. I'd rather these were manufactured in the US and not China, but so far through many packags of Stix our dogs have had no ill effects and still look forward to their Stix.
Dingo Munchy Stix made my dog very sick January 20, 2010 E. Stokes (Dallas, TX) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Please don't buy these for your dog. These have artificial colors and pork in them that is not listed on the product description online. These made my dog very ill. He had diarrhea and was throwing up for a week. I was very worried about him. This was the only change in his diet, I feed him all natural food with no artificial anything. I thought these were made of chicken & natural accourding to the online description but they are not.
Dingo products are excellent January 6, 2010 Mace Thomas (Orlando, Florida United States) I had previously purchased Dingo mini rawhide bones for my parents Siberian Husky and Shar Pei and those two ate those bones without any hesitation. With this knowledge, I thought that I would try these Munchy Stix for our Yorkshire Terrier for Christmas. At the time, Amazon had these for a ridiculously low price and I purchased way more than was needed to fill her stocking. She ate these up like there was no tomorrow and they leave little to no crumbs afterwards. I do not know what else I can say about these, as I can not comment on their flavor or texture, but our puppy loves them.
Delicious but short-lived. December 15, 2009 B. White (Texas) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2XGA3DT1NANSH I'm not sure how Dingo did it, but they've managed to combine rawhide, chicken, pork, and sugar into a crunchy stick.
Delicious? Sydney thinks so.
Rawhide Chewiness? Absolutely not.
They went quickly, no mess October 26, 2009 Kristi G., mom of Sage (Rome, GA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I really just got this item as a filler, but they sure did make my dog happy. He ate them up in no time, and really enjoyed them. I liked how easy they were to give him, and that they were not messy and that they were actually chewed up and eaten, and I did not find them hidden in my closet the next day. I'd buy them again for him.
