Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Fun Wolter's Book   February 13, 2008
W. Katzinski
I generally like all of Wolter's books and recommend them to anyone that is interested in hunting dogs in general or Labrador Retrievers specifically. He is always a fun read and this book is no different. Lots of neat history about the retriever breeds (all of them) and how/when they were created.

3 out of 5 stars Good History Book   December 1, 1999
David Engel (Stanwood, WA)

Excellent history lesson for most of the retriever breeds if your in to that sort of thing. Also very good insight to the North American Hunting Retriever Association and how it came to be.
