Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and professionals in the animal, poultry, equine, and dairy sciences will welcome this resource that combines the study of pathology and parasitology. This book explains technical procedures, parasite life cycles, zoonotic potential, diagnosis, and treatment, and it includes a how to section that is valuable in the clinical setting. An accompanying CD-ROM Image Library with extensive color images of parasites and various pathologies is an excellent supplement to the discussions in the book.

2 out of 5 stars Depends on your background   May 18, 2007

This book was required reading for a class and very hard to get through. I read a lot of dry materials but this was more like a "teaching story." That being said, other people in the class loved it but did not like when the "science part" was explained and just wanted the story. Helpful for people who have little exp. with working with families but just another case study for everyone else.
