A must for busy practices July 7, 2008 K. Leys (Grand Island, NY United States) This book was a little known about, but now fought over book at our practice. When it goes missing, we panic! It explains all abnormal lab values (including lab errors, cell changes, shipping changes etc.) and lists differentials as well. When you have that otherwise normal patient with very abnormal lab work this book has been VERY helpful at sorting out real vs artifact changes. Like they say "if you aren't chasing the abnormals, don't run the bloodwork!" We love this book.
CCC - Clear, concise, complete. January 15, 2007 Alberto Franceschi (Pisa Italy) This book always provides an answer to all my questions concerning lab issues. The subject is centered with the correct and appropriate focus and useful data (and a lot of reference ranges) are always provided. It always manages to solve my problems in a quick and efficient way. As a Veterinary analysis lab director, i have greatly appreciated this book for its excellent price - quality ratio. It's a pity it only covers small animals!
